Firefox For Mac Os X 4

Firefox 16.0

Note: If you have Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) or 10.6 (Snow Leopard), you will need to download OS X El Capitan before you can upgrade to the latest Mac OS. While insecure versions of Firefox will continue to work on OS X 10.8 and earlier, using an up-to-date version of Firefox on a supported version of Mac OS will provide you with the best and safest.

Operating Systems

 1. The actual developer of this free Mac application is Mozilla. The unique ID for this program's bundle is org.mozilla.firefox. The software is included in Developer Tools. The most popular version among the application users is 4.0. This free software works fine with Mac OS X 10.5 or later.
 2. TenFourFox is an essential web browser for any Mac OS X user that is still using a PowerPC machine. It’s a fork of Mozilla that is practically identical to Firefox 4, the only difference is that it includes support for PowerPC chips, meaning you’ll get all the CSS3 and HTML5 support that Firefox 4 comes with, and perhaps more importantly.
 3. Doesn't work on Tiger (MacOS X 10.4.x for the non-cognoscenti.), hence the low rating. It's a shame really: Mozilla is following in Google's footsteps when it comes to Apple OSes, and forgets that not all Mac users can or want to switch to Snow Leopard.
